May Day

Join the Monterey Bay Central Labor Council (Monterey Bay CLC) and its member unions, the Santa Cruz County Immigration Coalition, community leaders, and Indivisible Pajaro Valley for a little something different on May Day, May 1.

1 pm: Car Caravan (Scan QR below to sign up)

2 pm: Protest at Target

3 pm: March - Target to Romo Park

4 pm: Rally & Escuelita at Romo Park

This is a moment that requires visible, collective action. Across the country, communities are mobilizing to push back on growing economic pressure and threats to our families, and the corrupt and unconstitutional behavior of this regime.

May Day is rooted in a long history of collective power, from the fight for the eight-hour workday to the Day Without Immigrants. In Watsonville, it is also a critical opportunity to stand with our community, demonstrate solidarity, and strengthen our readiness to respond to the regime's attempts to establish an authoritarian state.

There will be opportunities to protest, to march, and to learn, throughout the afternoon. We look forward to seeing you there!

**PLEASE NOTE!**
The events at Romo Park will be focused on raising awareness of these issues, not on protesting! And if we have too many cars honking on Main Street, we won't be able to hear at the escuelitas. So please bring your protest energy to Target, and your passion for learning and community to Romo Park.
